This week has been particularly busy because we have been short 2 nurses this week, and I have been the only one at the clinic. One of our nurses will be returning from vacation next week, but the other one has been moved to help out at one of the community projects.

Just so you know that I am still myself no matter where I go...
Today I did something very "jen" like.... I walked full on into a wall. Thank the Lord that I broke the initial impact with my forehead or I am very certain that I would have broken my nose. As it was, it brought tears to my eyes and I already have a bruise on my forehead. I told Sheree afterward that it was my new method of trying to knock some sense into myself.

I can't believe you walked into a wall so hard it brought you to tears. if I can't take you...I am glad a wall was able to-lol.
Oh Jen!!!!!!!
I am loving the big smile on the little girl. so sweet!
I can't imagine sending my kids off to another country by themselves. Oh, those poor parents.
Jen,
Wow that is so great that you have been there so much without Sheree and you are still ALIVE!!! I'm really so proud of you. Can't wait to see you again and talk to you in Spanish. I know it's still hard but I'm sure you have to be learning SO much faster than you ever would in a class room. Nothing like necessity to make you learn quickly.
One of my English students said "Hey gays" instead of "hey guys" the other day in front of the whole class. Those who understood couldn't quit laughing. I still make mistakes in front of them too though so I think it helps them not feel so bad about their mistakes in English.
Anyway, still sounds so awesome what you are doing there. No more walking into walls please! You're so funny. Miss you and hope to see you soon. Still so bummed I'm gonna miss you when I visit.
Love,
Katie and Elias
